Analyzing and Drawing Conclusions

Below are self-authored or co-authored research results and discussions provided via written reports, articles, recordings, performances, presentations, exhibitions, or other modalities

  • Indigenous Cultural Mapping Analysis
  • As a Mitacs Researcher-in-Residence Student Intern, one of my main projects was to analyze cultural maps Kamloops citizens made to help curate the Cultural Strategic Plan for the City of Kamloops. I held a special emphasis on maps created by individuals with Indigenous ancestry. Below is a document highlighting my analyses and main take-aways.
  • ‘You Are Here’ Exhibit Cultural Mapping Data Analysis
  • As stated above, I analyzed cultural maps Kamloops citizens made to help curate the Cultural Strategic Plan for the City of Kamloops. Alongside maps, I also analyzed specific questions in a survey conducted asking those same individuals to comment on the culture of Kamloops. Below is an example of an analysis I did on one of the survey questions.
  • Research Apprenticeship Extended Abstract (2022-23)
  • As a part of my Research Apprenticeship, I created an extended abstract to summarize the main findings from the experiment. This extended abstract was also presented on my poster as a QR code.
  • UREAP Report (Results/Conclusions Section on Page 6)
  • For my UREAP project, I concluded the results of my project under the supervision of Dr. Kingsley Donkor. Below, in my final UREAP report that I submitted, are the results I observed.
  • BIOL 3000 Biometrics Research Report (Results/Conclusions Section on Page 3)
  • In this course, our main project was to conduct an experiment asking any question you and your partner choose while using experimental data and R software to complete it. My partner and I’d topic was ‘How Do Different Auditory Environments Affect Memory in University Students?’.
  • BIOL 3520 Cell Physiology Lab Report (Results/Conclusions Section on Page 10)
  • In this course, our semester long project was to conduct an experiment investigating the effect of any drug, inhibitor, or stimulant on the cell migration of Ea.hy926 endothelial cells. Our topic was ‘The individual and synergistic or antagnostic effects of testosterone and caffeine on cell migration of Ea.hy926 endothelial cells’.
  • BIOL 2160 Intro to Microbiology Unknown Bacteria Report (Results/Conclusions Section on Pages 4 and 7)
  • In this course, our semester long project was to investigate the strain of unknown bacteria each student was given by performing a variety of common microbiology tests and methods. Below are the different methods conducted and the results they garnered.
